How to measure your windows
Measure each pane accurately and allow a trimming tolerance.
Accurate measurements make fitting far easier, especially for cut-to-size orders.
- Measure the visible glass of each pane — width first, then height — in millimetres.
- Measure every pane separately. Windows that look identical often differ by a few millimetres.
- Add nothing for overlap — order to the glass size. Our cut-to-size service leaves a small trimming tolerance so you can trim to a perfect edge on the glass.
- Note the frame and any seals — measure to the edge of the visible glass, not the frame.
- For multiple panes, label each measurement so you can match film pieces to windows.
When you order cut-to-size, enter the width and height for each pane and add as many panes as you need. We show the area, price and estimated dispatch before you add to basket.
